Acne & Smoking

Acne And Smoking

Many trials have been conducted to find out about the effect of smoking on acne formation and acne treatment. Until now no specific relation has been found that it causes acne. It is, however, a known fact that smoking reduces the healing rate. We can be sure that if we have ulcerating or infected acne it may take longer time to heal if we are smokers.

Smoking also makes skin age faster. Smoking may not cause acne, but to treat acne faster, it is better to stop smoking. Smoking affects all the vital organs of the body and it is better avoided.
