Is It Dandruff?
Most of us begin using anti-dandruff shampoos, when we see white oily flakes falling from our scalp as we scratch the itchy scalp. It is always recommended to get the diagnosis done by a doctor in the beginning. You might be mistaking something else for dandruff. Seborrheic dermatitis may look like that. Psoriasis patients have similar signs on their scalp. Very dry skin can cause lot of itching. Contact dermatitis or allergic dermatitis can cause symptoms similar to dandruff. It is always better to find out that you have dandruff and not something else.
