Do You Have Gonorrhea?
Gonorrhea is a highly contagious STD. If left untreated, it may cause many complications including very painful, swollen testicles in men and PID in women. PID can lead to infertility. Please find out if you know the symptoms of gonorrhea.
Men:
You may have gonorrhea if
- You have frequent urination.
- You feel pain during urination and the pain increases with time.
- You have bloody or thick discharge from penis.
- You feel pain during intercourse.
Women:
You may have gonorrhea if
- You feel pain during intercourse.
- You have bloody or thick discharge from vagina.
- You have frequent urination.
- Pain or burning sensation when urinating.
Women should carefully notice any symptoms, because most women do not develop severe symptoms. The symptoms may be so mild that they are taken as something else. If you suspect that your partner has gonorrhea, please get tested immediately.
For Men And Women:
Oral Gonorrhea:
Some people develop oral gonorrhea after oral sex. They develop redness in throat and tonsils, soreness and painful swallowing. If this persists, please consult your doctor immediately.
Anorectal Gonorrhea:
If you find a discharge from anal area, find out if you have anorectal gonorrhea. This may result from anal sex with an infected person.
