Periungual Warts
These types of warts can cause lot of pain and trouble to the sufferer. They usually form near the nails. These warts are rough in touch. They can deform the nail if the wart virus enters the area below the nails. The virus can also enter the nail plate itself. Sometimes the nails develop fungal infection and further complicate the treatment. These warts should be treated as soon as they appear and cleared to prevent more damage.
