Nail Fungus: Who Is At Risk?

Who Is At Risk?

There are some people who are prone to some diseases. Some people keep catching fungal infection of the nail while others may not. But apart from that, the nail fungus mainly spreads through- accidental use of infected nail tools is one of the common reasons. If you have an infected nail, you should use a separate clipper or file for it and not the one, which you use for your healthy nails. Poolside, locker rooms, or gym areas, where people are barefoot, are the places where fungi thrive. A small microscopic abrasion on your fingers or nail can catch the fungi from there. Wearing artificial nails increases the chance of nail fungus because artificial nails damage the nail plate.
