Syphilis
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease. Bacteria cause it. This infection spreads through the open sores that form during the disease. Syphilis develops in phases and goes into dormant phase after some time. If the patient develops infection in this dormant phase again, syphilis may cause very heavy damage to all the organs of the body. If treated properly in the early stages, it is a curable disease.
