Hirsutism
Hirsutism means growth of hair in women, in a male pattern. Many women grow hair in unwanted places such as upper lip, chin, and abdomen. It looks very unattractive. This problem is known as hirsutism. This runs in many races where most of the women grow more hair. More active male hormones or more sensitivity of hair to normal male hormone levels can also cause hirsutism in women. Your doctor will run lab tests and find out why you have hirsutism. There are many medications to treat hirsutism apart from normal hair removal methods.
