Varicose Veins
When large veins bulge and protrude out of the skin, they are called as varicose veins. They are normally found on the legs. These are much thicker than spider veins and do not form a web like spider veins do. Varicose veins can give pain and may have to be treated not only for the cosmetic reason, but also to remove the pain.
This problem generally runs in families and women are more at risk. Though no known prevention is available, the formed veins can be successfully treated.
