Split Nails

You can get split nails because of habits that give trauma to the nails. Any activity that uses nails to perform as a tool will hurt the nail and split the nail as it grows from the nail bed. Chronic wet hands weaken the nails and may also cause nails splitting. Nail polish removers can also damage the nails.
